Everything’s coming along nicely for the Best of Both Worlds Stargate convention in November, due to guest commitments we’ve had a date change and the event will now be a week later than previously advertised, we apologise for any inconvenience and hope the new dates work well for you.

The event will now be held November 21-22nd.

One of our guests has a message for you!

Hi everyone! Colin Cunningham here. Just wanted to scream out at the top of my lungs,

WE ARE GOING TO HAVE BLAST in SYDNEY!!!

It’s been too long everyone and I for one am really looking forward to seeing you all again. And of course breaking in a few of the ‘new people’ with my incredibly famous ‘Major Davis fire breathing unicycle trick’. Never heard of it? Well… neither have I. But just picture Major Davis riding a unicycle naked while breathing fire and dripping lighter fluid on his privates. That’s GOT to be worth at least a bronze pass.

I know that times are tough for everyone all over, but I really hope that we can all get together once again to celebrate our favorite shows and get a little crazy.

See you soon!!!

Sincerely,
Colin Cunningham

We sent out an SOS to some of our friends and as a result we are now able to announce a fantastic guest lineup for BOBW November 2009!

Dates: 14-15 November 2009.

Guests:

  • David Nykl - Dr Radeck Zelenka
  • Erin Chambers - Sora the Genii soldier
  • Colin Cunningham - Major Paul Davis
  • John O’Callaghan - Niam the replicator
  • Musetta Vander - the Jaffa Shan’auc
  • Ivy Isenberg - Stargate Casting Director

Now it is up to you to make this event happen.  Book your tickets as soon as possible and help spread the word to other Stargate fans. We need significant ticket sales well in advance of the event so we can cover upfront costs like airfares for our guests etc.  This is going to be a fantastic event where you’ll have the opportunity to talk to our guests in a more relaxed way than you would at other events.

We’d like you to know that guests we’ve been negotiating with are as disappointed as we are that we’ve had to postpone the event but they are still enthusiastic and supportive of BOBW.  We’ve been given permission to post a message from some of them and as we get permission to post we’ll be placing their messages on our forum.

Please feel free to stop by and see what they have to say and while you’re at it, you’re welcome to participate in or start up new discussions there.

You can discuss the upcoming event and get to know others that may be attending or talk about past events, it helps people to see what a fantastic and unique experience BOBW conventions are.  There’s also an off topic section where you can talk about anything you like.
